east coast galore: washington, d.c.- girl scouts trip- part I

please please please, don't be mad at me.  too late, i already am. i know, it's AUGUST for pete's sake, and i have yet to post D.C. pictures. yeah, way to go elena. and all those filler-posts that are supposedly supposed to make you hang on in there and keep on reading this blog, well, those are being put aside to no avail! hooray, it's about time! and i know you just wanna get your hands on those photos, so i'll waste no time. here ya go folks, part I of the east coast saga.

day 1- july 7- fly into BWI

day 2- july 8- capitol, library of congres, supreme court, air&space museum(smithsonian)

day 5- july 11- holocaust museum, arlingtion national cemetary, lincoln monument, kennedy center symphony, twilight tour of D.C.


holocaust museum-- note: for your own good, there will be no gory visuals. they will just stay forever cemented in my mind.

day 6- july 12- bureau of engraving and printing, constitution gardens, jefferson memoreial, korean war, vietnam veteran's, national history (smithsonian)


guess where we are!

constitution gardens? or is it the botanical gardens? HISTORY CLASS: fail.

whatever the case, there was a hose there. and it was our lifesaver.
