New Blog Colors?

hey guys :)) sorry its been sooo long since i've posted but i was thinking since we have a new background, we should have 2 new color combos. waddya think eL? comment two colors you think would go nicely with our blog background and our laces team will decide which one we like best :) anyways, elena- i love your random drabbles from a bloggers soul posts and alivia- i loved your riddle. WHERE IN THE WORLD IS SARA??! i was inspired by elena's writing that i wrote up something of my own. hope you like it eL. (ps. please excuse the grammar errors in here. i was in a hurry to write all this down)

"Rumble rumble rumble" i hear as the train goes by. i stare nervously at my new shoes covered with dust. "Any minute now," i think to myself. Maya has her head on my lap knowing that moments like these will only happen very so often now. I gently stroke her mangled fur and cherish this time we have together. My father's thick bellow of smoke brings tears to my eyes because i know that I'll miss him in his old and rugged collar shirt. He's slouched on his knees and i begin to examine the ancient wrinkles and worn out face on my beloved father. I only wish that my mother was here. I know that it pains my father to think of her, so i don't bring up the topic often. I wait patiently as another train stops to unload passengers. I glance at the clock. "An hour left and then my adventure will begin," I say under my breath. I fix my tie and get up to the near-by store around the corner. As I walk in, I'm greeted by the warm southern accent we have in Louisiana. I get what i need and I hurry back to my father and Maya, and then take a seat by my father. Fifteen minutes until my train arrives. Fifteen minutes to say goodbye. Is that enough? As fifteen minutes quickly fades, i begin to hear the distant rumbles of my train. I sit up straight and i look over my father to see the train coming towards me. When the train pulls into the platform, i quickly grab my small suitcase and wait. My father stands to shake my hand and i proceed on into the train. I look out the window to see the only two companions standing on the platform. As the train slowly pulls away, i sit back, hold on, and anticipate my new adventure ahead.
